Our 8 luxury chalets are nestled cozily on a private mountainside acreage only 5 minutes from downtown Golden, BC.

The Cedar House Chalets offer many comforts of home without the daily routine! Every chalet offers all the amenities you need so you can truly relax and enjoy the mountain views. Every chalet has a private hot tub so you have the privacy to relax and soak the stresses away. You will get robes to enjoy the hot tub, just bring your flip flops! Put your feet up after your day exploring and enjoy your crackling fire.

As a chalet guest, you will get a featured special at the Cedar House Restaurant. We invite you in for a dining experience that will make you feel like a VIP guest! Not much can beat a great meal with great views with great company.
Take a wine glass and enjoy an evening stroll around the property. There are manicured trails that end at striking views. Winter time? Borrow a pair of snowshoes from the chalet office and head out to the trails behind the Cedar House.

Pet Friendly
Mr Bentley says the Cedar House is a puppy’s paradise!
The Cedar House truly caters to all our guests! The hiking trails behind the property will take your furry friend on the walk they dream of. There are mountain views and 100’s of kilometers to explore, your doggy will feel like they are on an epic vacation as well.
There are three pet friendly chalets: Cedar Chalet, Sunflower Chalet and the Garden Chalet. We accept dogs for a fee of $35 per night per pet up to a maximum charge of $140 per pet / per stay in a chalet. For other pets, multiple dogs three or over, please give us a call at 250.290.0001 prior to booking.
For the comfort of our other guests, please ensure your pet is on leash while exploring the resort grounds. There is a big field near the Green Chalet that is great for playing fetch. Otherwise, please keep your dog close and under control.
To ensure your pet stays off the furniture and so you don’t incur an extra cleaning fee, pets are not to be left in a chalet unattended at any time. We do understand that sometimes you’re going where your pet cannot, so please talk to the office staff if you need to leave your pet.
A little little slice of home in the mountain!
Cedar House went above AND beyond to make us feel at home. The unit we stayed in (the sun suite) was fully stocked with everything we needed. From dish soap to spice to cook, coffee, pots and pans, they really provide you with everything you need! This place is an amazing place to stay with friends and family. We really felt welcome and at home! The place was stellar clean and in great condition. I also appreciated that they lend us snowshoes for FREE! Also, I need to mention…the view was so spectacular! Great place to stay, we will definitely be back!!
